An elected Member of Parliament, Dilip Ghosh is also the President of the West Bengal unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party.

He was formerly in-charge of RSS in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands and the former General Secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party unit in West Bengal.
