Darshan Kumar has been a theatre actor for over a decade and his passion for acting got him into the film industry.
His much-awaited film, ‘The Kashmir Files,’ directed by Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri, is based on the story of the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits in the early 1990s.
He rose to prominence for his role opposite Priyanka Chopra in the 2014 movie Mary Kom and played a pivotal role in the movie NH10 alongside Anushka Sharma. He was widely acclaimed for these performances.
He was also a part of ‘A Gentleman’ produced by Fox Star Studios starring Sidharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez. The movie was directed by Krishna D.K. and Raj Nidimoru.
Darshan was also seen in Ahmed Khan’s ‘Baaghi 2’ alongside Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani. His most recent project, ‘The Family Man,’ which stars Manoj Bajpayee, is now live on Amazon Prime. He has played the role of the antagonist in Rakyesh Omprakash Mehra’s ‘Toofan’ opposite Farhan Akhtar and Mrunal Thakur.
He is an all round performer and can currently be seen in ‘Avrodh: A Siege Within’, a webshow based on the Uri terror attacks now streaming on Sony LIV, and ‘Ashram,’ a Prakash Jha Productions’ series alongside Bobby Deol which is now streaming on TimesMX Player.
He is well trained in martial arts, boxing, and kickboxing as well.
